    May 6: Make History at the Museum: In the Garden
    10:30am-Noon, Museum of History
    All ages are invited to visit the Museum between 10:30am and Noon on Saturday, May 6 to explore the grounds and celebrate summer’s approach. Guests will craft a unique piece of yard art to add to their home garden. Program admission fee: Adults, $3, Ages 6-17 $2, Ages 3-5 $1, Under 6 Free.

    If you enjoyed the pine needle basket workshop in March, you’re in for a treat at our next Hands-On Heritage Workshop for adults. Register today to build a bluebird house with instruction by Claudia Mason. Registrants are asked to bring their own drill or screwdriver. Registration deadline: May 5th. Materials will be pre-cut prior to workshop and participants will assemble with guidance. Fees: $20 Members, $25 Non-Members

    Campers will get hands-on with history, conducting an archaeology dig in the Museum backyard, testing their skills in the Log House kitchen, tending a pioneer garden, “meeting” Civil War soldiers, and much more while they explore the evolution of our community.
