Immerse: History Camps

The Thomas County Historical Society offers several ways for families and children to immerse themselves in the history of our community.  Annual summer camp programming and monthly Make History at the Museum allows kids to get hands-on with history!

Time Travelers Club at the Museum of History

Campers immerse themselves in local history over the course of five themed days filled with games, crafts, costumes, and fun on the Museum grounds. The campers experience culminates in an open house program for family and friends on the last day of camp. Time Travelers Club registration is open to members and non-members. Registration priority is given to members of the Thomas County Historical Society.  Fees include a Time Travelers Club T-shirt, snacks, beverages, and all craft supplies. Scholarship assistance is available, please contact the Thomas County Museum of History for more information.

 Priority registration for current members of the Thomas County Historical Society extends until April 29, 2015.  Following that date, registration will open to all interested campers.  Registration is first come, first served and camp fees must be paid in full to reserve your spot.
