Join the Thomas County Historical Society this Election Day, Tuesday November 3rd from 4:30-7pm for the 22nd Annual Chicken Pilau Dinner. Prepared and served on the Museum grounds, this traditional southern supper supports the programs and preservation of our community’s rich history! Tickets are $7 a plate and dinners will be available for eat-in or take-out.
Preparing and serving the Pilau dinner is a great opportunity to work with other members of the Society and community. If you would like to participate as a volunteer in this fun event, please call the Museum or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Thomas County Museum of History is located at 725 N. Dawson St. in Thomasville. The Museum grounds and six historic buildings, including log house and bowling alley, will be open for touring during the event.
